Student Grants

JSAT provides grants to Jewish students who need financial assistance towards the cost of their studies.

Our grants are normally between £1,000 and £3,000, with awards based on individual circumstances, financial need and the funds available.

Which grant is right for me?

JSAT Main Grant

Primarily for postgraduate study in the UK

Our main grant programme supports Jewish students who need financial assistance towards their studies. It is primarily intended for students undertaking postgraduate study in the UK.

You may be eligible if you are Jewish, under 30, studying or planning to study in the UK, and can demonstrate financial need.

Applications for 2027/28
Open: 1 April 2027
Deadline: 1 June 2027

The Mildred & Sidney Goschalk Student Aid Fund

Primarily for undergraduate study in the UK

This fund provides financial assistance to Jewish students undertaking undergraduate study in the UK who have also spent at least one year studying at a Yeshiva or Seminary after leaving school.

You may be eligible if you are Jewish, studying or planning undergraduate study in the UK, have completed the required Yeshiva or Seminary study, and can demonstrate financial need.
